We went to a Regal to see Final destination. $33 a ticket.

Wife wanted nachos. $8. We got nachos at home.

Luckily, the VIP tickets come with free popcorn and slushy.

Stopped to get tacos and drinks in midtown Atlanta. Ended up spending another $90.

We have two little ones so we are never out past 2pm. I’m kinda glad. Grandma needs to leave asap.

Getting prepared for an event. My Wife asked me last night, “why when you get home you don’t get haircuts?”

I told her I’m not about getting $50 haircuts before tip every two weeks. At work, I get $11 haircuts on base. Plus I don’t have to tip.

Inflation is a motherfukker. We haven’t got our 3% raise this year neither. Corporate talking about be happy we didn’t have layoffs this year.

I need that 3% asap to pay for these haircuts.

Thing is.... Nobody knows how to host events anymore. I'm talking BBQ's, Fight Parties/Kickbacks etc. So inviting people over is a complete afterthought.

And you have an entire demographic that's outsourced being entertained to people/places wanting top dollar....and have bought into being overcharged at normal places of entertainment.

But regular people are finding they've have been priced out of regular ass weekend entertainment....and they also lack resourcefulness/imagination to even figure out how to go have a good time without spending that much.
