My 6 year old niece just tested positive.

That mask update should have never been lifted until the we were at least to 2/3 of the population vaccinated and an infection rate of 3 percent or less in highly affected areas.
I also feel like they weren’t completely transparent in beginning although they came back and clarified the vaccine does not stop you from getting the virus only minimizes the symptoms in some.
It did not help matters these MAGA idiots were running around with no fukks given like the virus didn’t exist either.

Locking down indefinitely is not viable. And mask mandate alone won't end Covid, New York still had a mask mandate in January and we reached 10% positivity rate.
