Maybe a few did maybe they didn't but I don't see the problem telling the GM especially if it was more than one person which it seems like it was. All of them going to tell LaRoche they don't want his kid in the locker room he would have gotten upset and then it would have escalated to the GM where he would have had to make a decision anyways. Might as well tell someone who can actually do something about the problem. And having to tell another player to keep his kid at home isn't something another player should expect to have to do that is a management issue that should be addressed up higher ups not players.

Which sort of explains him quitting, he knew this was coming from the players and how could he justify hanging around a bunch of guys who couldn't stand his goofy ass kid.
