They got confused while reporting that. I think the outside the lines was from a while ago and the texter speculated that based on what Abreu said back then,t it may have bothered him that Laroche's son was around

Breh, most of the players have their kids in the clubhouse from time to time. It's no big deal.

LaRoche had his son in the clubhouse every single day, and on road trips too. That's flat out ridiculous. The kid didn't even go to school, he was supposedly being home schooled.

All they asked him to do was scale it back, not really a tough request.
