John McAfee mentioned the security issues of blockchain. Unless you have your wallet stored on a hard wallet or separate hardware device outside of your computer and mobile, you can be compromised.

that security issue has nothing to do with blockchain or bitcoin, anybody can get hacked, people get money stolen from their bank account or credit card everyday, bit coin faces the same exact threat banks do, the blockchain is fine

the only true scientific threat to bitcoin is quantum computing, but again quantum computing is a threat to the entire banking system and the internet services that depend on encrypted data

I used to believe in all this stupid libertarian bullshyt when I was younger. I thought that Bitcoin was the future or something like the gold standard would fix everything.

I am strong enough to admit that I was wrong.

in 2018, it's become very obvious that the CCP and Lee Kuan Yew have stumbled on the superior system of government administration, and that Keynesian Economics does have its benefits.

A government CAN help smooth the ups and downs of a free market. It just can't be restrained by the idiotic western ideal of Democracy.

Imagine if a meritocracy/technocracy or some other objective or science-based administration like the CCP had control of something like bitcoin? I think it would like to a greater economic development.

This article was the main reason I sold my 3 and a half Bitcoin last year. Don't ever fall for fear-mongering, even from the "experts". If you believe in something be ready to stand by it even if that means losing everything you put into it.
