...get you hella clicks/views online.

I know I'm not the only person that will be going for a specific trophy, or an item in a game and go to Youtube to see how it's obtained. Then, you see what's uploaded and go :wtf:

"How in the hell did he know to do that?"

Now in some cases, you have people that just explore everything in a game and just figure it accidentally. But I'm convinced some of these things I see people post on how to get, within a few days of a game releasing is simply because they have a strategy guide explaining it. And they then become the strategy guide for thousands or millions of people depending on how ridiculous the task is.

Destiny is a game that comes to mind, because Bungie literally doesn't put a lot of info in the game AT ALL, so when I see people with tutorials on how to get shyt that seems completely impossible to just stumble upon, I have to call bullshyt... these dudes copping strategy guides... I'm sure of it.

Random Thoughts... but that's what forums are for

Wow you're right I always wonder how tf people are uploading videos of how to 100% levels/missions literally within a day of the game dropping.
I'm saying breh... there is no way people can do some of this stuff without guides.

I have to agree somewhat it's certain stuff you would easily miss or just wouldn't know it was there.

I know plenty don't play Destiny, but look at this.

I'm telling you, there is NO clues/tips/hints for this in the game. Explain to me how ANYBODY found this without a guide? Of course there are plenty of videos now, but the initial person who posted it... there is no way you would know to just randomly do that shyt without help IMO.

a lot of it can come from pooled information from the internet. there's lots of discussion boards where people will figure out pieces. then someone can take all those pieces and make a more complete video detailing everything

but I agree some of it probably does come from official guides

There's something else to it though. When witcher 3 dropped you had people posting full walkthroughs and the different endings within 2,3 days. This is not humanly possible. Same thing with metal gear.

Alot of reviewers and industry ppl get early releases weeks before the general public.

True, but in some instances I'm sure these dudes just cop the guide, get the game early or study up and have the information right there to complete some of this stuff. Then post online, and eat.

Just an observation
:ehh:

Well with Metal Gear, dudes had that game the Friday or earlier before the game came out the next Tuesday. I knew that game would have plenty of tutorials on how to and where stuff is. I'm sure they still had to play a lot of that for some of those tasks tho, cause some are glitched to hell
