It just occurred to me...I've never flown first class. It is worth the extra $$$?

damn y'all really be having this shyt :ohhh:

I used to not give two shyts about upgrades. But I'll never forget i saw a breh laid up in first class in what looked like a goddam waterbed. Playing his Switch drinking a mimosa and barely acknowledged us he was so at peace :dahell:

From that moment on I knew I had to do it at least once. Now when i do international I will look for upgrades. I don't always book them though. Very case by case and airline dependant.

I've never flown first class :mjcry:

Had a chance to fly myself and my parents to my sisters wedding first class for cheap but her hating ass ruined the whole thing by saying we needed to fly out of a certain airport.

I knew it was bullshyt but my parents forced us to follow her demands. We ended up at a shytty airport and a shytty plane ride

Don't get me wrong, I've flown plenty of times since I was a kid.

But it's always been cheap flights, in fact I usually fly Spirit :heh: or Southwestern. Just never seen a point in paying extra, especially for a domestic flight that's only going to be a few hours. Then again, I haven't been a huge traveler thus far and really only travel on holidays to occasionally visit fam.

So my question to the coli...do you fly coach or first class? And if you do fly first class, was it worth it?

Seems like it's the same other than just more leg room and maybe a meal.
Only for long flights.

Flown first class across Atlantic once. Got bumped up when they overbooked.

Is first class awesome? Yes. Top level food. Top level service. Relaxing. Spacious. It’s honestly the best way to fly. Makes it a pleasurable experience. Was drunk on champagne before the flight even took off. Loved it. Night and day difference between Economy.

However, is First Class worth it? No. It’s too expensive.

Is it worth it if you’re filthy rich and money doesn’t matter? Absolutely.
This right here.

All airlines are not created equal. Business/first class is always better than coach but some coach is better than others. Qatar airways coach >>>>>>>>>>>>> Spirit or Frontier or AsiaAir

I'm about to do 14 hrs in coach in a week

mikey chen/simply dumpling does a lot of reviews for first class/business class on youtube. mainly about the food you get but he does showcase the amenities as well.

his videos are pretty good, especially since for a long time he was paying out of pocket for all his trips. he said other youtubers/vloggers hit him up and were "why the fukk are you paying when theyll sponsor you for the exposure and promo" :dead:

Took my one and only business class flight from Seattle to London nonstop for work. Missed the returning flight back after leaving my passport at the hotel and my company just copped a same day business class ticket for me like it was nothing :banderas:

When I saw the actual prices on the expense report, I then realized I would never pay that myself so only points or work trips for business class.

That said, I regularly get bumped to first class for same coast flights and it's really not worth it unless you a drunk. Pay for the premium seats if you want more space as I'm hoping most people you see in domestic first class are there from points/upgrades like myself
I did Philly to Seattle non stop and that shyt sucked Coach for 6 hours...

I need at minimum an exit aisle with extra legroom.

If I ever do a nonstop flight to back home I'm mos def spending the spending spending an upgrade. When I was in my Navy uniform I'd get upgraded all the time:banderas:

I have, and it's dope, the cost on a lot of flights can be pretty prohibitive. To go to France first class, it's like 7k, I think my first trip, my only trip there, I spent 10 for 2 weeks or so. So, flying first class would have been like 70% of the cost of the whole trip. I was crammed in regular class like everyone else.

The last time I flew first class, a gay guy behind the counter booked my flight, and was like winking "don't tell anyone", and I was like about what? and when I walked on the plane I realized he gave me a front first class seat,
