It just occurred to me...I've never flown first class. It is worth the extra $$$?

Don't get me wrong, I've flown plenty of times since I was a kid.

But it's always been cheap flights, in fact I usually fly Spirit :heh: or Southwestern. Just never seen a point in paying extra, especially for a domestic flight that's only going to be a few hours. Then again, I haven't been a huge traveler thus far and really only travel on holidays to occasionally visit fam.

So my question to the coli...do you fly coach or first class? And if you do fly first class, was it worth it?

Seems like it's the same other than just more leg room and maybe a meal.

This.

And even then, it's not a "game changer" IMO.

now business class is a whole nother story :banderas:

Word.. I've flown Business class when I had work in China - had an entertainment system, the seat reclined like a bed, free food and drink.. Definitely worth it

I'd do a first class from NYC to London, but anything longer international I've only done Business Class. And once you do that shyt, you def can't go back.

For the most part it’s not worth it.

First of all airline food is trash I don’t care what class your in (exception would be airlines like emirates).

To pay $4000 vs $900 for economy class is only worth it if your money is so long that it doesn’t matter.

Yes for long flights it's worth every penny. Use to fly from NY to London (just business class though) and aint no way I could've done coach with my knees and those animals back there. I've done my time flying coach (people taking off their shoes and socks kicking up their feet, eating hard boiled eggs stinking up the entire cabin, sneezing and coughing like Super Saiyan COVID victims) )and I refuse to fly long distances doing it.

I use to spend the extra money on business class for anything over 6 hours (Baltimore/DC to Cali) but my tolerance for long flights has really gone up lately. Also depends on the plane. These days I can do 8 hours on coach like no big deal.
