If Bron is smart he'll go to Boston
It wont be good for his PR and his relationship with Cleveland but it would benefit him to leave for rings. But not completely sure if Boston have enough weapons to compete with GSW.

You're not getting an elite player for Love

true. and the free agent crop doesnt offer much because most of these guys are not what they need or past prime. they can get a player like Melo and maybe bring in another defender like Iggy maybe (you know he will go). I always liked Milsap better than Love and think he would be great in Cleveland. Hell, GSW been winning with small ball. the thing is, any player they would be getting would be heading on the downside, rather than upside. The best the Cavs could hope to get that would truly help them would be Paul George.

Its not like hes ring chasing anymore, he did his job and got one for Cleveland....dont see bron going anywhere....

Love is gone if they need to shake things up and no one else has value, since kyrie aint getting traded...

I thought they should've traded him last year even after the ship. Of course at the time I was thinking a trade to the Celtics for Crowder and someone else which would've been terrible. Still, they needed to improve defensively to compete with GS and they didn't

Shoulda never traded Wiggins

I have always said this...but at least they did get a ring. I just think Wiggins wouldve helped them more long-term. I also dont trust Love's durability. Melo would help some and I would take him over Love, but the only player that can really take the Cavs to another level that they may have a chance at is PG13.

They never should have traded Wiggins, and it'll only make the argument worse if they trade Love for Melo, who happens to play the same position as Wiggins :dead:

Rooting for a love-melo swap... cause I think it'd be a horrible move for Cleveland... Just think LeGM is too smart to push for/sign off on it, even if that's his homeboy

A KP-Klove front court is also intriguing for the Knicks

It's clear the Knicks and Melo are headed for a divorce but doesn't Melo have a no trade clause? Couldn't he, in theory, force the Knicks to cut/amnesty him? If they did that the Cavs could either sign him or bid on his contract, right?

Because cle is terrible defensively. And Stevens is a better coach than Lue.

Boston already plays the warriors tough. Boston basically splits with them now. Adding lebron with the personnel n coach Stevens they can beat the warriors. And you can hide lebron on defense with Bradley/smart/crowder/horford/olynyk etc. they match up well. Other than pop Stevens is prolly the best coach in the league.
Brad Stevens is easily the most overrated coach in the league according to this site, word to Rick Carlisle.

But aside from that, this is bullshyt. Boston plays them "tough" and splits with the Warriors in the regular season; if that was Boston in the Finals instead of Cleveland this year, we're talking four 40-point blowouts most likely. shyt would look like a repeat of their Game 1 or Game 2 against the Cavs this year (Boston).

You're not getting an elite player for Love
You got an elite player for Buddy fukking Hield, you can get an elite player for Kevin Love.

Elite players are often traded in "less than" packages, and regardless of how you feel about him, Kevin Love is much better than just being part of the "less than" in a trade.

i fukks with SAS, but this is just another example of him being a 'i wanna be first, damn if it's right' reporter....he's been saying the cavs were gonna trade love for the last 2 years now, and love still there....so i guess he gonna keep saying it till/if it happens, just so he can say 'told yall this would happen back in (whatever year)'....

as for the potential trade: it's possible cause everyone on the team except bron & kyrie are tradeable, but it's not probable....also, tt was more of a no-show than love....

anyway, instead of trading for melo, the cavs need to get younger on the wing....they need to get younger overall period....younger, and get some cats that's willing to play both sides of the ball....also, they should keep derek williams, and put him in the rotation next year....
