I think the ideal way to live is to have a citizenship in one country (where they only tax you if you live there), physically live in another country (that has high personal freedom, low crime, good healthcare, etc.), and do business in a third country (that has a large economy, high economic freedom, business friendly). Thanks to the internet this sort of arrangement is possible. The only great thing about America is its large economy. If you have any hope of becoming wealthy you have to have access to the American market while physically living elsewhere (i.e.: Jamaica, Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Nigeria, Ethiopia, etc.). Your income stream will have to be some sort of internet-based business (i.e.: Selling on Amazon, ebay, etsy, dropshipping, web design, graphic design, blogging, etc.)
I knew a black girl who was born and raised in the US. I believe I mentioned her before (though no one reads my posts). She sold vitamin supplements and kitchen utensils on amazon/ebay/her own site. She would have these things shipped in containers from China and delivered to one of those amazon warehouses (I think she used that FBA service or whatever it's called). Her entire business could be managed from her bedroom and she claimed that she was getting 45k a month from this. Fed up with all the racial tension in the USA she moved to Trinidad and continues to run her business from there.
