Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I’ve been observing this thread since page and I commend the brothas and sistas that have an open mind and see the world as gray.

To Simptex, ROFL, ISeeBroke, and even cultured, seemingly educated guys such as Chris B and Lewis Black.

Okay okay, I got it. Asians, for the most part, are culturally passive and come off as frail coconut tree climbers that squat on the sidelines in life. I get it.

But why state the obvious? What’s in it for you? If asians are the least threatening people to you, why constantly chastize and scrutinize?

We all here together because we love to bullshiit, talk about music, sports, life, love… get our rocks off in JBO, etc.

I always pushed for social equality and identify people only by a individual basis. Several weeks out of the year, I volunteer at a local Ethiopian community center (it started off in highschool when I got caught stealing some shiit and part of my deference, I had to commit to local services, I fell in love with kids, now they call me Yao cuz I’m tall and nice).

I’ve dated women who would have never considered an asian guy but because I was bold enough to approach, I was able to open their eyes up to new horizons… appreciate that there is culture and diversity and *gulps* love that they would have nil anticipated or imagined.

Every time I hang out with a new cac or a brotha, it’s always, “You’s a cool ass dude. Man, you like the brother I never had.”

You know, every time someone ups that Seattle thread, I always invite the cats in there, black, white, light bright, whatever... to come kick it with me, get some drinks, shoot the shiit and meet some new people/women. I’m about that DIVERSE life.

We can’t be regressive and just think so archaically about, “Black this, oriental that, cac this, superior/alpha that.” That ain’t gonna take us no where, b. Dr King had his dream. He died for us. He wanted for everybody to be as one. He stressed the importance of equality and that as a people; we need to stick together for the sake of U.N.I.T.Y. – And perhaps, one day, our children can love eachother IRregardless of race, class, creed, religion, etc.

The thing about life is that we just have to give opportunity… opportunity.

Where is the love?

Momma always told me that you can always find the good in people... as long as you open up to them. And i'm doing that daily, b.

But the question is...

Are YOU willing to open up?

C'mon, it's Friday, you finna be out of work in a couple hours (if you're on west coast time). Get out ya fly outfits, get faded up, cop some chase cuz I got this bottle of Crown with your names on it. We goin' out tonight. Dig?

Let's just do like a refridgerator...

Question tho', how would you define alpha in the modern sense in your own words? .

Good question my dude. Someone should of asked me this before because I think ive been coming across as a racist...my bad.

It's hard to explain. It's the attitude and stereotype. It might sound racist but asians are seen as non threatening. They are after all the model minority race. Peacefull, not loud, not aggressive, not intimidating etc. They concentrate on school blah blah. Now all these traits are seen as beta. Whens the last time you saw an asian lead what kissed the chick? whens the last time you saw an asian lead what didin't do kung fu? shyt whens the last time you saw an asian lead in the movies? Are these stereotypes right no but they there.

@Howie Doroughberg

Your post made me feel horrible breh :ld: I made some dumb comments in the thread but I never thought for a second blacks>>>>asians. I was just speaking on stereotypes. I apologize.

Who do you suppose is to blame for that? Certainly not Asians cuz I'm sure there's no Asian Hollywood execs. See where I'm going with this? :scheme:.

This is a discussion for another thread, but according to racist fukks that run Hollywood:

Black Man = The pimp, the hustler, the thug
Asian Man = Socially-awkward, dikkless, kung fu master
White Man = :cape:

Nah I don't blame asians. But like I said these stereotypes aint fair but the difference between them and the white/latin/black stereotype is that it's more manly.

black men are Sp'd = big dikked, athletic, no good drug dealers, animal like, thieves, intimidating, scary. gang member ,Die first :sadcam:

Latino men are sp'd = Latin lover, drug dealer, drug cartel, intimidating mexican gangbanger, "hey homes", theif.

white men sp'd = heroes, scary, intimidating, powerful, bosses etc

asian men sp'd = Socially-awkward, dikkless, kung fu master, computer geek

Im not saying it's right but those are the stereotypes out there u feel me?

Exactly. But dog please stop acting like Asians are not seen as effeminate men. Im sure that's not true for every asian but lets not act like this aint a stereotype. People in here acting like they don't know what im talking about. Even this asian dudes speaks on it.

Adoption - Asian Stereotypes - YouTube

Explain

I remember in my African American History class my professor told us that there was a point when slaves were freed & they could buy slaves themselves. They did this to show that not only could they be just like the white men but they could be "better," or even more "powerful," than the white men& To prove this point, some black slave masters would treat their slaves even worse than white slave masters. This is just some background to what I'm about to say...

I feel like that need to be "equal," or to be"just as good," is there. So what have white men done to black men?Told them that they are better than them because they are white. They are superior because they are white. All their "greatness" is natural.I think that some black men on here take their need to be "equal," or "just as good" out on groups of men they see as lesser than(like white men did to them).
