This season premeire had more "oh shyt" moments than most shows' season finales.
Its unusual...In a lot of ways its like a "throwback" to 80's horror movies...THEN they break one of the primary unwritten rules of 80's horror: Don't kill little kids on screen
So the show feels totally familiar, UNTIL

Shout out to the army breh driving the humvee. He was the lowkey MVP. Those African American looks were spot on. Like that shyt was Morse code for brehs.
First look was basically be aware/beware and the 2nd one was don't get comfortable with these white folks I seen some shyt.

From one of the breakdowns I saw, it seems the military are trying to harness the power of Pennywise maybe. Cant remember if that was theory or book knowledge though
