I never seen her as a mean woman because I knew she was acting and that wasn’t really her it’s just a character. I understand why some actors hate some characters they play because people be thinking that’s actually them

He typecast the hell out of her.
One of the many disappointing things about Tyler Perry is his inability to write complex characters or to develop the actors and actresses who have been a part of his production empire over the last 20 years or so.
He could have created some of the greatest Black plays, movies, and television shows of all time - instead, we've gotten mostly slop.
I hope she gets some interesting new roles.

She was annoying af in why did I get married too, but that scene when she was jogging on the beach getting out the water showed she had a nice body

I remember seeing some video about tyler perry with these dudes reviewing one of these movies
and one of them said i just wish he would write better stories/characters
then the guy said why do you think he can
at this point tyler perry is who he is and he's never changing/learning i think he can't do it

I don't think you're wrong, but he can *easily* hire brilliant writing staff, there are Black writers, illustrators, designers, etc. who would love to get on board and have stories to tell. But he doesn't want to do that.
