It sucks that Tyler Perry movies made Tasha Smith seem like an angry Black woman

Me and my girl was watching some Tyler Perry last night and she was talking about how much she can’t stand this brother who was in the movie we were watching


He was also in the movie we were watching but we can’t unsee the role he played when he had HIV and was a dirtbag. He’s had many roles before and after that movie but for some reason that particular role sticks with us. It’s good acting and writing at the end of the day, but Tyler Perry doesn’t do anything outside of the box . His dramas are all the same in one way or another

You must be young, Tasha was one of the OG Typecast Mean Black Woman waaay before working with Tyler Perry.
She was even that on White show…off top, I remember she was a regular on Tom Arnold’s sitcom on The WB.

Pretty much any role Khandi Alexander didn’t get, Tasha got. You can’t put that on Tyler
