hopefully the lakers pass on this year and go all in on kawhi next year.

They could also try to get klay potentially then too. Golden state bill is going to be over 320 mil if they resign klay, they are obviously going to have to do something.

That would be the best case scenario but Spurs gonna tell him to sign the max or he gone. Hopefully 1 of our rivals guts their roster in a trade for him and he walks to us next summer

Wagner could be a decent backup big. Not giving anything defensively, but he has confidence and can stretch the floor, which they don't really have from their bigs right now.

If they do sign LeBron and he brings George with him, they could probably have a rotation of Lonzo, George, LeBron, Ingram, Kuzma, KCP, Crook and IT. That's pretty solid.

Things would be so simple if Lebron was out of the picture. PG (or Klay), Kawhi and the kids would be a hell of a defensive squad. No need for "retro-fitting" the franchise to suit one man's needs
