Basically the Lakers are gonna offer everything and Spurs would be dumb as hell to say no, Lakers doing this so it secures Lebron. If we are doing this, hopefully PG comes too..otherwise it would be a waste.

I don't think we will have the cap space to get PG (with Lebron and Kawhi) unless we can get off Deng. I'm getting the impression there is no way the Spurs are taking Deng, but we also don't have many other useful salaries to include as trade filler. I think that's why we are trying to trade for a first and/or take on salary.

But.... if we don't have the cap for PG, we could end up keeping Randle and filling out the roster better.

that's because Lebron is giving us till Friday to make this move, if this dummy was patient we can probably make a better deal later on. Kawhi can easily say he won't re-sign to other teams. Saying this deal has to be done by Friday gives Spurs every leverage

Don’t buy that shyt for a second. Lakers are looking for the same deal that teams got for PG and Kyrie, Spurs getting one of Kuzma or Ingram with Hart and picks.

Ingram has to go in that deal and I am ready to let him go..what I am not ready for is Kuzma, Josh Hart, and 2-3 first round picks as well and the fact they are not taking Deng after. We can have so much leverage if Lebron wasn't demanding this shyt, this deal can be done in February or later in the summer.
