People gotta remember too, even though he was younger 4 years ago, he signed back with Cleveland before they ever made the Love trade. He was aware that was in the works, but he did sign before it was done, which could have helped Cleveland in not feeling like they had to give up everything to get Love. So maybe this could be a similar situation, he'll sign with LA (hopefully), and know that LA has room to either sign PG and/or make a trade for Kawhi, or even make other moves to immediately improve the roster around him.

Sources told me that the Spurs are pissed, they had the Lakers right where they wanted them... Lakers were going to give up the bank for Kawhi so that they could land Bron... Bron saw what was happening and didn't want the Lakers to give everything up, therefore, he informed Cavs early, and took the leverage away from SA.
