Randle would not sign a 1 year contract..this is for next year. PG fukked things up, if PG signed, Lakers would have gave Randle the long term deal.

A 1 year deal is disrespectful and he right for stepping away.
While I didn't want Randle, I probably woulda played hard ball and made him sign the QO or go get a deal somewhere else and see if it was worth matching. His trade value obviously isn't very high though and there's been no interest on the free agent market for him thus far.
