To me it looks like the team wanted to cut all ties with his agent Aaron Mintz (who reps Randle, George, and Russell). The relationship soured with the agent when they traded DLO. Then they declined to extend Randle then benched him. All that led to George not meeting with the Lakers and them rescinding Randle's qualifying offer. It all points back to

Aaron fukking Mintz.

If Lakers gave him a starting position he would have been back here. 9 mil a year is him getting underpaid, Lakers would have easily gave him that. The reality is though, there was no place for him to start. He is not starting over Lebron or Ingram, and at center he cant give us full game.
