I can raise kids without being married to the mom. Children can be your nieces or nephews, your side chicks children, your step children, your neighbors children, kids on the football team you coach. Helping raise kids doesn't mean that you're financially obligated.

Very very very few people don't have children specifically because they were extremely careful and deliberate in their family planning.

Not having kids (as a woman or a man) doesn't prove to me that you've been selective with your partners,religiously used protection and have never had a pregnancy, it just means you have no kids now.
