It takes more skill and talent to make Trap beats than to Sample

You dumb ass stuck in the 90's ass oldheads need to use some common sense for once in your life

The popular style of production in the 90s was to take a song from a more talented artist and either loop it or chop it and make it into a 4 bar repetitive loop and throw some 1-2-3 drums on it. shyt sometimes they even sampled the damn drums. The whole thing was pretty much copy and paste of more talented people's craft


These young boys nowadays are making their OWN melodies, finding their OWN sounds, meshing their OWN styles and ONTOP OF THAT THROWING MORE COMPLEX DRUMS OVER IT

Now which style is better than the other is subjective. But don't discredit the work the youth puts into making the music they make.

Dont know if you had to go so hard at those classic sample beats...But he does have a point,when i realize some of my favorite all time beats is just a loop of some shyt sumbody else did

My only complaint is hiphop producers should be able to make from scratch beats that sound every bit as good as those instrumentals they love to sample so much.

with that said,when you factor in beats that werent just looped samples from the 90's,trap beats are still a regression and not some evolution
