At what point do you accuse them of point shaving? DJ has been the worst player in baseball this year and Verdugo has been bottom 5 since 5/1 and arguably the very worst since 6/15. Both have nothing to offer and one is gone after this year but they’re still in the lineup every day. At this point I’d be less offended if they were caught point shaving.
DJ has a -2 WAR & on top of his awful hitting Verdugo directly cost them a game vs Baltimore that the average player makes in their sleep. Just off removing those two and the awful things they’ve done on the field alone their 1 game lead over Baltimore would have been at 5 games right now.
