The song sounds like a true and natural progression from lllmatic, none of the songs on the album carried the same spirit. IWW felt manufactured and souless

illmatic was dope for different reasons.

IWW on the other hand was the most cinematic mafioso album ever. Sometimes it's kind of hard for me to label it as a pure mafioso album because the topics/stories he put out on this album were more about the aspirations of a low level dealer and overall the stories were allegorical to the gambino lifestyle. It's a lowkey masterpiece because if you listen to the album in it's entirety from start to finish you'll realize that it's one big chronological story of a street level thug who just happens to be a big dreamer.
