I never met anyone that hated it aside from a few people. And I said that in this very thread. Only people I ever met that hated on it was corny nikkas.

Its a 9.5 out of 10 album for me. Not perfect but still an undeniable classic.

This was my gateway album as well because all my cousins had this album when I was a kid but none of them had Illmatic for some reason. Although illmatic is one of my top 5 goat albums and I don’t think iww is as good. I think it is nas second best album by real far and a great album. I’ll say for me personally it’s a 4 mic or 4.5 mic album

Those are usually people who probably never bothered to listen to anything else or fell into group think. There's even greatness on Nas's worst albums.

Bro just like others in here said It was written was their gateway to Nas, Stillmatic was mine and I know for a fact it was for a lot of people my age also
