IMO there is no argument for IWW being better lyrically (or on just about any level honestly). IWW is an incredibly one dimensional album. There are a couple shifts (I Gave You Power, Black Girl Lost) but overall it's nearly nonstop mafioso shyt. The lyrics are dope but...listen to Illmatic and how varied the content is.

Right - his technical rapping as far as flow, pure bars, etc is a step up from Illmatic but content and substance wise, a major step down. I wish he would've put the Street Dreams remix on that album because it was a perfect blend of the mafioso bars, the deeper subject matter of Illmatic, AND the glossy commercial sound. IMO it might be Nas' best song. Too bad R Kelly is such a fukking sicko
