I have never watched Dexter, but I recognize him from 2 Fast 2 Furious, Blade: Trinity, Django Unchained, etc lol.

Apparently, it's a combo middle & high school. So kids ages 11-18 (grades 6-12).

Yeah, but the main kid characters, both in this show and the 2017 movie, are middle schoolers (ages 11-14).
