Be shocked that anything mass produced isn’t valuable.
The point of luxury was that you had to pay up front for a limited item because you could afford the inconvenience of waiting for it to be made.. Anything that is sold at multiple stores(real and online) across the world ain’t luxury.

Real folks have been known this. My mother and grandmother are/were master seamstresses and made beautiful clothes, garments etc, for a decent price, they simply just shopped for quality fabrics at local garment stores.
Same thing for overpriced Nikes and Jordans.
That’s why I always make nikkaz look stupid when I say you can’t impress me about your shoe game unless your getting your shoes made my a shoe cobbler that has molded your foot on a shoe last to your exact dimensions. Custom made shoes will cost you minimum $2K
Same thing with having your clothes tailor made. Luxury department stores are finessing dumb financially illiterate kneeguhs!

I thought this was common knowledge.
I have aged out of this,but back in the 2000s,I spent insane amounts of money on high end Italian designer clothing,only to realize as I got older,a nice shirt is a nice shirt.

This is about them and a few other designer companies breaking labor laws. Poor working conditions, undocumented workers, cheap wages.
The $57 is just a sensational headline. Designer fashion has high mark up by nature so shyt gonna be ridiculously priced no matter what. But $57 is what they were documented to pay some workers for producing bags. $57 per bag. That didn’t include the cost of the leather and materials to make it
