You guys were creaming your pants over that shyt. As normal most of TSC was in support and there were a few who were like " this shyt is lame." In hindsight of course, IT WAS THE WORST EVER!!!!!!!!! and everyone knew that from the jump.

He should have just stuck to the suit wearing shtick he had going his last run, always one of the most over heels and was good a for a nice (even if repetitive and soon to be overrated) promo.

Jericho coming back as a heel was a bad idea from the jump. He had gone as far he could go as a heel in his 2nd run with wwe. The troll thing was fun the 1st time all the shyt that after was terrible, tho. Coming back as a face would've been a fresh start, losing the rumble killed his character before could get started.

the initial comeback failed at the rumble when they gave it to sheam instead of y2j...the trolling and shyt worked if i remember its just when we all realized it didnt lead to anything the hype vs let down facotr made his run look horrid when in fact with the promos it wasnt a bad run. We got a good feud with ziggler that helped ziggler, a solid run against cm punk that led to the classic cm drunk shyt, the amazing lite bright jacket, it wasnt THAT bad

its just when we just saw two all time amazing y2j debut in 2000 and the one that led to the GOAT suit/anton chigruh esq mic work and ring work, this one definately a let down.

i remember the rumors of him going over at the rumble thentrying to unify the titles or something as an angle was dropped would have been that piff...but yeah it was amplyfied due to the entire incredible build up leading to nothing

In retrospect he should of changed those promos or really just show up trolling . Those over indulgent vignettes had us thinking one way and he came back another. Imagine him just showing up and trolling would of been hilarious. exactly, the two gimmicks didnt fit at ALL...i understand the point of trolling is to kinda annoy but let's say we didnt get promos and jericho just shows up with a light bright jacket after the lights mysteriously go out on that raw show, nobody mentions jericho returning and of course reports would be he was near by but he shows up with the jacket, goes to the ring with nothing but y2j chants and does the same shyt he did when he came back...it would be a lot better than building up this end of the world angle/run and not delivering with a whole different style character...matter fact the whole jericho running down during the rumble and either eliminating himself on some im bigger than this shyt or the theory that everyone would be eliminated before he came to the ring and he just walks out and wins would have been a first and of course met with criticism but still would be because he'd be trollin on as usual borderline heel/face shyt...then you have many options and already have this big payoff to his return, jericho winning the rumble with ease torlling or jericho too big for the rumble/doesn't need it trollin

but when you tell us this guy is going to be the end of the world as we know it, of course our expectations will be high and we are gonna want to see how you can pull it off and once again they could have, wouldn't have been 100% loved most likely but all fans but yeah they went a whole nova direction but it wasn't horrible it just wasn't executed or thought out fully

Find an e-book, read the parts on his early WWF career, then store it in a place where you'll never find it again. It reflects so badly on the man.

As for Jericho's immediate return, everything was actually fine until he lost the Rumble. Sure, they started to run the silent thing into the ground a bit, but he got a pretty good 2 or 3 weeks out of it. Then, of course, he lost the Rumble, had a mediocre feud with CM Punk (Really, one of the worst, if not the worst, iteration of the CM Punk/Alcohol feuds. Didn't it start out as a feud about copying Jericho?). This led to Punk and Jericho's worst matches together.

This was the HIGHLIGHT of his run.

He then proceeded to do almost nothing other than job endlessly until getting suspended (and then doing more jobbing after getting suspended), turning face and attempting to put Ziggler over. Which meant nothing, because he'd been jobbing endlessly.

This run was pretty detstable in every sense of the word.
