Same thing with Puff. Been a fan since like 1997, Puff is one of my childhood connections to hip hop. I came into hip hop through the Bad Boy era, so I obviously have that personal connection. I also don't pay attention to gossip blogs, and barely know who Cassie is or was, much less follow their relationship.

So, if I had some chance to go to a party, I probably would. and I would be breaking my rule of not going to parties unless the host invites me personally and is a friend.

I am no one, but then my name would be on some list of having attended. It can be that simple sometimes. The idea that all these people are "pedophiles" which is really like a modern day Salem Witch trials thing, Epsetin is an abuser. Epstein abused minor victims. Not everyone else did.

People will blind themselves to what they don't want to see or don't want to know, or is too uncomfortable to know.

Epstein's cover was being a socialite and using normal parties and philanthropy, to disguise the other stuff. You wouldnt know
Exactly just like that 76er owner who throws parties at the Hampton during the summer

I would have been the youngest person there. Shyt would be like that episode of Curb where Larry took a “Make a Wish” Foundation kid to the Playboy Mansion :ld:

People knew about Epstein back in the 90s, so NO, not going

How would you know who was there before going? Being a black elite you'd have been in that situation too many times to count before you get the invited to Epstein's spot :francis:

Like someone else said it's like getting invited to a Diddy party then all these years later you find out wild shyt was happening in rooms you never went into, but since people saw you their you're in the headline, shyt's crazy.

Would rather go to a small party where I roughly know everyone's whereabouts
I'd ask who's gonna be there. If it's a bunch of people named Feinstein, Bernstein, Weinstein, and Epstein I'm gonna keep my black ass home.

What was Epstein famous for? Outside of the  stuff.

Investment and finance. Being a "wizard" with investments, managing people's money. No one knows exactly how that happened, but he was with Bear Sterns, and then he somehow convinced Les Wexner of Victoria's Secret and a huge business holding company, to invest with him. And he made him money. Probably.

That attracted more high profile finance/business guys, and he managed hundreds of millions of dollars. But, up until the end, even the prosecutors in Southern District, had no clear idea of where his money was actually made.

two things for sure:

Epstein had an obsession/compulsion sickness with sexuality and young/minor women, he couldn't control it. He couldn't stop.

but he also used that in part to facilitate his business. Casual blackmail, and quiet kind of promises. Get his clients around younger women. Make sure they can't just leave your investment.

I have read Filthy Rich by James Patterson

I have read the indictments of Maxwell and Epstein, and dozens and dozens of articles from WSJ and NY Times over the last 4 years, and the Miami Herald initial reporting from 2018
