They said it's because an Open World Pokemon game is best when you can play it anywhere in the world, and being confined to your couch while playing an open world Pokemon game takes some of the magic away, which is true :ehh:

I stopped playing in 2010 after Platinum. Played for 12 years :wow:

And even back then, playing Pokemon wherever you go is a great perk. It's a part of the experience just being able to pull out your GBA/DS/3DS and just play, disconnected from everything else but the game :yeshrug:

You need to be on an adventure while playing Pokemon. It's the most personable game ever.

After typing this, I'm sitting here wondering why I stopped playing :mjcry:

You talking about a single player open world game or an mmorpg. I would be down for either. I use to love pokemon and the reason I haven't revisited it or tried any new game is because of how redundant it's gotten. A mmorpg would definitely grab my interest.

yea honestly when you're young, having the DS around on hand anytime is fine. But once you hit your 20s its more of an inconvenience when it comes to the pockets.

Can't say I can relate to you there breh
Yea I guess when we were kids it was kinda cool to carry your gameboy around school or the playground to stunt and style on your friends but the whole portability isn't really a selling point to me anymore:yeshrug:
Most of the time I sat my ass down while playing it anyway couldn't stand the sun's glare on my screen and some of those battles required my full attention:whew:

I'm 20 :dahell: stopped playing when I was 16 so obviously I was speaking from the perspective of s kid.

Secondly, thats the reason the creator of Pokemon actually gave. Which Is why I said "they said". His reasoning was that Pokemon needed to stay portable for it to stay alive. :pikacamby:
