the PS4 architecture makes backwards compatibility with PS3 games very hard. Its not as easy as just putting the same games up.

PS4 don't even allow you to play your own videos that you download. that reason alone is enough for me to keep the PS3 since I watch so many movies/tv shows on it.
I think that's coming soon but I see your point there.

Yeah, they REALLY need to enable that shyt or at least DLNA. Thankfully my laptop has an HDMI out, so I'm good while on the road.
At home, my Sammy had DLNA built into the TV so I don't need my PS3 there either. Only in my bedroom with my slim ps3 and my OG PS3 is in my son's room.
I had one but got rid of it after Uncharted 3,
