So they push dude as the company whipping boy for months, never got any of his heat back and they somehow expected a "larger than life" character out of it? Maybe they should have just let him have his moment with Cena and see how that translated on Raw the next night instead of working the crowd. They fukk this same procedure up every time. I actually bought Summerslam and it was a pretty good show but they decided to bring me shyt on a platter after so I went back to streaming. Basically what this translates to is Vince has no balls. He hasnt since WCW died and proving like I said many times before, he is a booking one trick pony.

I've been watching late 98 RAW when the corporate storyline was taking off. I notice a few similarities (I could be reaching though) and I have a sliver of hope this will pay off, but then again the fukkery then and now are different.

I can't explain what's the deal Del Frio. He's very good in the ring and he has tons of charisma, but the fact of the matter is that unless they are in a heavy latino town, the crowd doesn't give one single fukk about ADR. No matter what he does he just can't connect with them (to either love him or hate him).

I'm not comparing ADR to D-Bry. I was trying to imply that a guy like Bryan gets blamed and "demoted" for lacklusters results but guys like Del Rio keep getting a pass even though he always get mediocre numbers too. He's been given tons of opportunities, gimmicks and wins to get over and still fails at it.It's just silly to pull the plug out of a guy so quickly because he's small when you have performers with the "right look" who continue to be mediocre and get tons of chances. That's always been WWE's mentality, I know, but it's still dumb as hell.

If anyone cares about D-Bry, they had better PRAY he stays out of the main event picture.

I don't know if he's damaged at all, as far as perception is. It is a good sign that he's paired with Punk for that Wyatt feud, but that shyt is way...out there. it depends who the "devil" ends up being, and hopefully not Vince.

I'm smart enough to not actually believe he'll never be anything again, but I was right in saying that being in this main event picture with Triple H wasn't going to get him anywhere.

Meh, I think his little run on top showed he's an Orton/Jericho/Punk type of performer (over but can't draw much) but being all doom and gloom about a guy that's so versatile/talented and so fukking over like him is a little bit silly

HHH always gotta throw fukking jabs in his supposed worked shoots to put himself over instead of doing what's really good for business and just get owned on the mic or the ring. One of the best things about the attitude era in retrospect was HHH getting his ass handed to him on the mic by Rock and he got the Rock back plenty of times but his ego won't let him be seen be seen as the weaker guy for a long period.

But to be real... D-Bry need to do something with that beard, it look ugly as fukk brehs. He don't depend on the "Yes" chants like a crutch so his promos are solid like the one he gave to Cena about how he wasn't a real wrestler and wouldn't slap him like they do in Japan but his look.. needs some tweeking. I don't know what can be done though.
