I don't think it has anything to do with political correctness.
If you have to travel to a place where $40 is considered a lot of money just to have sex, then it's probably not something to brag about. The sex tourists of times past have quietly rented poor women, that's why there's not much talk about them.

I listen to a little bit of one of his live streams after I found this video today. It happens to be from about 3 months ago and I just wanted to see what he's been up to. He doesn't sound like a bad guy, and it's a little refreshing that he's being brutally honest.
One part that I found funny/thought that he was delusional about though is when I heard him saying that he'd rather stay in airbnbs than in hotels specifically because in hotels other guys will try to bag "his" chick.

A lot of American women are becoming more vocal about not shaming "sex work" though (most of them it's because it's the only work that they feel qualified to do). Eventually some sectors of the US may be just like some red light districts in developing countries.
