I know most of y’all don’t like ja, but the man was balling out against the warriors until his ankle gave out. As of now I’m taking ja anyday over sga

Shai is arguably a better player, but I don’t know what purpose this thread serves pointing this out. They’re two of the best guards in the game. It’s okay to appreciate them both.

I will say though, it’s blatantly obvious the majority of this board doesn’t even watch Thunder games.

The Grizzlies went 20-5 without him last season because of how well they drafted and developed those players. You could swap out Ja with any high-level guard and you’d get similar results, if not better with a select few.

It’s not like Ja is this Bron or Steph level player that transforms a team. He’s just great in his own way, and that’s okay because not every star can be that great.

Shai is nice. He’s like the nba’s version of Aqua man. I never seen a nikka as slippery as him. His game doesnt resemble any other player I’ve ever seen. Haven’t said that…he hasn’t surpassed Ja…he’s having a better season but he’s never even been to the play-in tournament let alone the playoffs as the guy. Ja has been in the league in less time and he’s already led his team past the play-in and playoffs with monster performances. Until Shai does something like that I’m not ready to say he’s passed up Ja yet…
