If he was talking shyt but was roses height and shot better he wouldn't still be on the team?
Height aside...Both exhibited lack of defensive skill (which is a direct reflection of effort). Rose is just washed :flabbynsick:

For the shyt talking, believe it was reported that IT called out KL's lack of hustle/effort. From an outsider fan, don't think IT has the clout to call out anyone on the team

Anyway...IT's net worth is higher than thecoli community combined...I'm sure he'll be aight

I'm delusional :russ:

Without Kyrie being the closer for him he would not have a ring.

Kyrie was willing to go damn near anywhere to get away from that toxic environment. Kyrie was more than just "instrumemtal"..

Obviously... As we can all see now

He was their second best player and first best finisher. And he was trying to gtfo

But thats off topic. The point is, no one flourishes while playing Bron ball except Lebron. And as soon as shyt goes downhill, everyone except him is to blame. Kyrie refused to be his bytch EARLY but saw that he needed to bounce soon because shyt was not going to end well for him there. See Isaiah Thomas now
I think he hated dan glibert, and the general running of the organization more than bron, but on the shot thing they were tried and Cleveland scored afterwards anyway. Point is if you are good enough to get yours you’ll thrive in bron ball if not then you won’t (both Kyrie AND wade) were capable and tbh only teams of historic stature has been able to beat bron ball so I don’t see why bron ball is bad, unless the surrounding pieces wheels are falling off. Also of course, they didn’t get a player capable of replacing Kyrie’s production, but there are several players who could’ve. David griffin doesn’t get fired, we are t having this conversation.

Shannon hating Sharpe of course. its crazy. 29 ppg, all nba. eastern conference finals potential max deal to now being labeled a cancer. Damn shame how they ruining this man's name.

He's a bad defender- but wasn't he on the best defensive team in the league in Boston?

He's a liability in the 4th quarter- Didn't he lead the league in 4th quarter scoring

He's a bad teammate- But didn't he help recruit free agents such as Horford and Hayward?

Humble yourself- you're 5'9 and shouldn't even be in the nba- Do you humble yourself at your job or do you try to get raises and promotions?
Hes He's a horrible defender...no disputing that

Horford got the max in Boston; Atlanta couldn't match; Stevens + Hayward >>> Thomas + Hayward

4th quarter - I'll give that you. IT beasted last year :whew:

You don't need to not humble yourself to earn a pay raise/promotion

:camby:

At the end of the day, 4 franchises have seen something they don't like/need (whether it's skill, fit, attitude, etc). All he can do is pick himself up, ball out when given the opportunity.

Hope he balls out and gets paid

three franchises traded him because he’s 5”8 and the fourth traded him because he’s 5”8 with a damaged hip. That’s the extent of it. The locker room cancer narrative is for people that don’t really think. Cleveland has had years of toxicity in their locker-room. One of the best PGs in the game just requested a trade after making the finals three years in a row. Cleveland’s all-star PF has been routinely ostracized and told to adjust (or should I say fit in) to appease the King. IT was beloved in Boston by his teammates and is partly responsible for their resurgence: without him those coveted free agents would consider signing elsewhere (Horford was close to signing with Washington but liked the pieces in Boston better). He was the best player on a team that transformed from an 8th seed in 2015 to a 1 seed in 2017.

What if that new guy was literally one of the best workers in your region before he got there.

What if your workplace was showing a shytty work ethic and not turning a profit?

Because thats what actually happened

IT was literally there for 10 games or something.. Thats not enough time to knock off injury rust or to get acclimated with new teammates.

And like he even said, if he wasn't there to play and act like the IT they traded for, then what was his role on a shytty team going in a downward spiral?

You still don't call out and question the second best player on the team when you just got there yourself. Especially when you haven't done shyt for the team yet.

Mega superstars can MAYBE pull that off, but IT isn't that type of player. He thinks he is and that's the problem. Sometimes you have to put that ego aside and gauge your surroundings and adjust accordingly.

He can always say he was coming off of an injury, which is true. He has history as a starter, so if he puts up 20ppg coming off the bench in LA I think he will get a starting offer somewhere.

Isaiah Thomas just needs to get focused play whatever role they need him to play, ball out and rebuild his value.

all of this would play out well in a fantasy world of fairness.

narratives are being pushed & lines are being drawn. ive seen starters get booted from the league in similar situations.

meh.
Isaiah goes back further with kevin love than anybody else on the team actually. its not like he was calling out one of his teammates that he just met.

the problem was him boldly answering questions when he should've just said no comment.
btw, Isaiah Thomas was the 2nd best player on that team. not kevin love's stat-padding ass.

IT is in the AI in Philly after being shipped out of Memphis part of his career :snoop:

Homie should've went to the G-League before coming back

Iverson was ballin when he went back to philly tho.

until those injuries(that the national media conveniently didn't report) made him sit his ass down for a minute. and then all the personal chit.

theres no logical explanation to have an mvp candidate come off the bench behind a backcourt made up of a disappointing rookie and a roleplayer.

i'd rather get blackballed than come off the bench for a bum squad. your career is gonna go down the tubes in either scenario. might as well let it drown with dignity.
no.
you cant play 6th man on a bottom-feeder team, and then expect to bounce back into a starting gig with a quality team.

What did he say that wasn't the fukking truth?

Playing after his sisters passing SHOULD'VE been enough display of character for a lifetime for you nikkas, but as soon as he got to Cleveland and wasn't "producing" enough in Bron ball (which was always going to happen) Lebron stans literally called this dude a "midget cancer" after a couple of weeks of him actually telling the truth about that shytty ass team..

Like others said, Lebron literally shyts on KLove like 3 times a year but its Lebron so its cool for him to call nikkas out and never get accountability

That nikka didn't ask to go there and it was clear that he was never going to fit. Kyrie didn't even want to be there and saw that it wasn't going to work.

The team was already going to shyt before IT even suited up and was able to get his footing back.

as a lebron fan ... this is true

K Love should never have been the scapegoat for Cavs every year ... and IT, who only played one month, should never have gotten all the blame. I like shannon sharpe but he is one of the people that really fed into that narrative, too harsh with the critique imo

and, as a leader of the team ... you cant take all the glory when you win but none of the blame when your team struggles ... even if you are still doing your part as an individual ... i just dont rate that type of passive leadership imo
