really? napoleon complex...how? He was literally the best player on his boston team. and took them to the playoffs. i think people are just intimidated because he has that fire in him people fear.
you expect him to be docile because he's diminutive, but he got the will of a conqueror while defeating giants on the court daily when he's recovered.
you nikkas hate the breh cause you're weak. afraid because secretly you know he has the heart to do what you can't.

and you know what i'm referring to.

real ones know

what's understood ain't gotta be explained.
bytchazzness.
you go on boxden and you see the bytchassness seeping out in the comments like this man didn't go out and play his heart out when his sister died and WON!
there is ice in those vein that you p*ssy azz nikkas just don't have in you.
in a lawless world guys like isaih would thrive while you nikkas would be victims.

Yup Cavs traded Isaiah cause he had too much competitive fire and it intimidated the whole organization, makes sense :ehh:

...Lemme guess, you're 5'6"?

He was getting called the new Iverson. This is looking like it will mirror Iverson's time with the Pistons when they wanted him to come off the bench.

The Celtics ruined this man's career after he played his heart out for them.

I'm pretty sure Caldwell-pope is gonna come off the bench when lonzo comes back.

theres no logical explanation to have an mvp candidate come off the bench behind a backcourt made up of a disappointing rookie and a roleplayer.

i'd rather get blackballed than come off the bench for a bum squad. your career is gonna go down the tubes in either scenario. might as well let it drown with dignity.

no.

you cant play 6th man on a bottom-feeder team, and then expect to bounce back into a starting gig with a quality team.

hes just gonna get typecasted as a lifetime 6th man for that. most people tried to typecast him as a 6th man from day one. since sacramento where he was the 2nd best player.

he cant afford to entertain that nonsense.
He can always say he was coming off of an injury, which is true. He has history as a starter, so if he puts up 20ppg coming off the bench in LA I think he will get a starting offer somewhere.

Thank you.

I don't even understand all the hate in this thread.

Wasn't he Mr. 4th quarter?? Didn't he ball out same day his sister passed? People always hit the "wait until such and such is healthy" but because Isiah is 5'9 he doesn't get that treatment?

Interesting stuff.

yeah, I am sure he feels its unfair. all he wanted was to succeed and get a max contract or the closest thing to it. gets traded to Cleveland and feels he has a chance to get to NBA finals, then after a few games a lot of the Cavs woes get dumped on him. then you trade me to a team that doesnt really want me and now my money will decrease because I have to showcase myself and sell myself all over again by coming off the bench for this bum squad.

his fatal flaw though was letting the media use him as a mouthpiece. he shouldve just fell back on some of that shyt.

If IT was 6 foot he wouldn't be getting treated like this. He's been traded multiple times in his career because most see him as a novelty. It sucks because any other cat coming off the season he had would have been signed to an extension without even hitting free agency. Now he's probably going to have to settle for a 1 or 2 year deal hopefully worth 10 mil a year in order to prove himself. That max contract isn't going to happen especially with him about to hit 30. At this point he might want to reinvent himself as a scorer off the bench in order to improve his value. Cause obviously he isn't seen as a starter for a title contending team in the NBA.

yeah bro. it's real unfair, but the height thing will always be used against him heavily and you're right he should've kept it a bit more hush but heck

Isaiah Thomas just needs to get focused play whatever role they need him to play, ball out and rebuild his value.

gonna be hard given the situation. Lonzo will get him some good shots though. nobody paying nowhere near max for a bench player though.
