Why as a $400 budget phone with the same processor outperforming the Note7? Why does the year old Nexus 6P? This is totally besides the iPhone point. There's something wrong with that. And it's like XDA says nobody calls Samsung out for this. Reviewers always say this Samsung phone is the best Android phone ever year after year. At this point Samsung clearly doesn't even care either because nobody is going to call them out. some curve around the edge and a stylus doesn't excuse the $450 premium to get outperformed by cut rate budget phones.
That makes Samsung worse than Apple because Apple charges excessive prices on their phones but their real world performance at least contends with if not beats the competition even on much lower specs. Samsung is using the same hardware as other manufactures in their same space and losing to both them and Apple when it comes to performance.
I get that you're a Samsung fan but so am I and I can admit there's something wrong with a $400 One Plus 3 booting and running apps faster than a $850 Note7.

Has the Note 7's speed been a hamper to anyone not running a speed test? Serious question. No issues at all so far on my end and if you think that's the sole deciding factor between cost of, a Nexus, or an iPhone you're clearly trolling. Speeds at this point between flagships is almost negligible. My only concern is, will my phone be as fast two years from now as it is today.
I have had 3 different s5 phones die on me, threw it in the bushes got a 6s and I plan on keeping this for the next 3-4 years, android phones don't have a high life expectancy rate as iPhones and I love droids.I got an s5 and iphone 6 plus... best of both worlds
the only thing I hate is being forced to use cloud and pay for streaming
but the overall experience other then that is much better.some of these dudes are too damn old to be having phones wars, their still nothing but phones at the end of the day yet these nikkas argue over this every day

As an iphone user, the note 7 is impressive.
I did have a Note 3 when it dropped, and that shyt died on me in about 8 months, I went right back to iphone. Random crashes, battery wouldn't last even a 7 hour work shift, music management was horrible.
Best feature was the pen and the screen and camera.
