Wherever nikkas need to be told on
I'm talking about on his side. Trump supporter types are the minority, but they are the most vocal. Moderate republicans are staying home.

True, but it's not just about the president. They vote EVERYTIME for congress, which is arguably more important. Historically blacks and liberals stay home for those elections, which is why the Tea party currently runs congress despite most of the country disagreeing with them on the issues.

He will lose the general. As I said his supporters are a minority in the country.

It's a clear known fact that low voter turnout equals a loss for dems. I'm trying to find a graph I saw before, but i did find this article talking about it for the 2014 elections.

One Reason Why the Democrats Lost So Big in Midterms: Exceptionally Low Voter Turnout

And this is exactly why Rebulicans were so surprised at Obamas landlide victory. According to their polls Obama was losing, but there was unexpected and unprecedented turnout among young/black/liberal voters that rendered their estimates useless.
I can dig a lot of this. It would be real interesting to see what would be the effect of there being greater participation at the local level.

Yeah but guess what... do you think black people are a monolithic where we all would vote for the same person and that we could determine the outcome of an election process where the winner is already predetermined by the powers that be. There's a reason why they say the popular vote doesn't mean shyt. Be real.

The benefit of voting is simply to say that you exercised your right to say you voiced your opinion. Doesn't mean that your opinion will be considered or will determine shyt. It's clear who the next president is going to be. They got Bernie and trump basically playing dummy for the person whose going to be in the white house. Democracy my ass.

its a clear demonstrable fact that low voter turnout = a win for republicans and high voter turnout = a win for Dems.

its cause those racist white folks ALWAYS vote, no matter who's the candidate, no matter what the issues are. they realize the power that voting has granted them and they use it. Now if only young/black/liberal people would understand this we could eradicate them from national politics altogether.

I've noticed this that's why the republicans control the house we always we have low turn out for local elections

Yeah, shyt is confusing.

I guess the thread premise is EITHER...

K-Dot and J. Cole make conscious and political music that is popular but not inspirational enough to get people to engage in the political process

OR

People praise the social critiques/messages in K-Dot and J. Cole's music but don't actively try and create any social change themselves because they don't vote

This plus Kendrick said he doesn't vote

JCOLE does tho

Alvarez in chicago the bytch who held onto the Laquan Mcdonald video for a year when her office had it 2 weeks after the shooting as well as purposely undercharging the offduty cop in the murder of Rekkia Boyd lost in the primary yesterday is is now out of a job [cook county state attorney]

DA McGinty in Cleveland who cleared the officers who murdered Tamir Rice in cold bold also is out of a job since he lost in the primary yesterday.[cuyohaga county district attorney]

voting got these people out of their jobs.
