Not really top to bottom Portland and Sac were more "talented" than L.A. So were the Big 3 Celtics. For years people insisted that both Ray Allen & Paul Pierce were better than Kobe Bryant.

POR and SAC had talent. Kobe and Shaq were both transcendent talents there is a difference.

Big 3 Celtics came along well after Kobe and Shaq and the Lakers of that time were stacked as well.

and people insisting PP and Raymond were better than Kobe. Comparable? Yes. I never heard anyone say either was better.
