Getting Pete on such a short deal is so good for this year while allowing room for them to know what they have in Vientos/Acuña/Williams/Mauricio/Gilbert. I also can't wait to see Sproat in the majors.

Pete is diminished from 2022. He can no longer get good wood on an above avg fastball consistently. If he breaks 100 RBIs in his career again I would be surprised.
