If he doesn't pass Straw by the All Star Break he's never seeing another contract after this one. I wonder how long it takes Soto to pass Straw?

I think he can mustard up 27 homeruns cause he for sure taking that player option.

Mets record for most RBIs in a season is 131 by Pete in 22, batting being Lindor and Soto, is he breaking that?

Beltran has the record for most runs scored with 127, is Lindor breaking that?

Wright has the record for runs created with 146 in 07, is Soto breaking that?

Pete is diminished from 2022. He can no longer get good wood on an above avg fastball consistently. If he breaks 100 RBIs in his career again I would be surprised.

On the one hand, he ain't lying, but on the other hand makes all the Japanese players look soft.

Alvarez needs to take the next step. I would also like to see him get some time at DH to keep him healthy

Not a big fan of dude but the Mets are doing a homegrown guy a big solid paying him $1 million to rehab. That's nice. lol

He took one for the team so I'm glad to see that they are looking out for him. Could be a solid chance he's healthy around Sept/Oct.

At least you picked a good time to join. You're going to need a good plug or dispensary and a high pain tolerance
I'm not that big of a baseball fan other than what I'm fed on ESPN radio but I know :pachaha:

I just find it interesting that despite me wanting both/either home team to succeed I've always hated how obstinate the Yankees can be...and now the irony.

I theorized on the Mets inheriting black fans from the Dodgers and lo and behold, Grandpa was one of of them.
