Book 1 is better, but Book 2 had
"Holla at me" (one of the best songs on the whole double lp, Pac went in verbally on the 2nd verse)
"Can't c me"
"Ratha be ya nikka"
"Thug Passion"
"Heaven ain't hard to find"
"Picture me rollin"
title track
"shorty wanna be a thug"
"wonda why they call u bytch"
Book 2 held its own, AEOM wouldn't be a classic double lp without it.
Aint Hard to Find and Holla at me has yet to be mentioned. I'm disappointed yall
but yea disc 2 is dope.
disc 1 is 5/5, disc 2 is 4/5
all the gushy songs like..
Check out time, run the streets, rathha be ya nikka etc all got major play
Classic double album. The only other double CD I listen to almost as much is Yukmouth's Thugged Out.
and yes that filler shyt is overblown. I honestly think Life After Death has more filler tracks (still a good album though)
2Pac will always be the GOAT in my eyes. So much passion an diversity all while maintaining that straight rawness.
When We Ride off book 2 is one of my favorite posse cuts. The background vocals at the end have a nikka like![]()
