10 years and I remember it like it happened yesterday. That TV taping was extremely tough to attend. There wasn't a dry eye in the arena during most of it.

Pretty much everyone was in tears when Triple H hugged a visibly distraught Benoit after the match. Eddie's passing broke Chris, he lost his anchor you can see it and hear it in his voice during that tribute segment they shot of him that day. Can't remember if the taping caught our reaction but it was like target center was trying to will him thru the segment when he started breaking down.

RIP Eddie, one of a kind man.

Brian Pillman was a pay-per-view and Chris Benoit was the day after one.

I watched that whole episode was cool until this moment, I didn't break down but I was touched by it.

November 13th is a fukked-up day for me in all kinds of ways, though.

Such a shame, dude was hitting the peak of his career. Was a beast on the mic, as a character and could still work like very few. And he was recovering from his troubling past

I still cant believe hes gone. He was such a talent. And not in that he passed and he became great way. Eddie was boss during his time here. I dont care what anyone says.

Grateful for the time I met him and Benoit back in Charlotte in 2002.

No event that Sunday. Horrible. shyt is burned into my mind like today is 11-13-05. Worst day ever as a fan for me. Everything changed that day. Thought it was some kind of prank being played. Just 38 years old right before thanksgiving and Christmas. shyt hit every fan I know like a truck. Everyone I know loved Eddie and it felt like they were cheering the guy behind the curtain. Him and Benoit's curtain call still remains my favorite memory as a fan.

I remember before he died he was supposed to be in a triple threat match for the WWE title and the dirtsheets said that he was supposed to win it.
