It's been 25 years since one of the GOAT sitcoms dropped

The characters aren't really supposed to be "likable." Many people aren't. But the show is so fukking creative and woven together tightly I cannot understand how someone wouldn't appreciate it. It's like Citizen Kane but from a writing standpoint rather than technical achievement.

In all seriousness, I've been trying to get into this shyt the last couple months and while I get some laughs from time to time, it just doesn't completely connect for me like the other comedies I love including Curb. I won't say it's trash but it's a chore for me to watch most times. Even the episodes that I loved I have no real desire to go back and watch again.

well i'm pretty sure that someone's enjoyment of the show hinges on the main characters being likeable. otherwise it's just a bunch of pathetic losers complaining about their lives.

we obviously find them charming but i could see why some people wouldn't.
