Kendrick has to respond, if he brushes this off and not keep it going. I am officially done with this n*gga. You can't start something and not finish it. You got everyone's attention, lets keep it going!!
says the guy that has no idea what kendrick was doing and why he did it. i saw your other thread talking about it was diss record. thats your problem. you dont understand what it was. it was TROLL DISS record. he was trolling every new rapper out and any semi underground rappers thats hanging around. now why would he do such a thing? he's already the kind of real raps, we all know this. jcole up there with him. but he sold the most albums of a real album that wasnt full of club songs. so why would he do something like this? to wake Rappers up. to get rappers off that club nonsense ALL THE TIME. there's a time and a place for everything. thats all that was. it wasnt a FORMAL Diss to anyone. TROLL DISS. and it worked.

he never needs to say another word about it. it wasnt for him. it was for THEM(all those other rappers).he specifically threw NY a bone to get them to come out swinging hard so the masses will remember what New Yawk was/should be all about. and it happened. everybody getting lyrical now. thats all KL tried to do and he did. game over.

Kendrick should respond to Pap. Pap bin nominated the best response really so let's see where it goes.
Why should he give that 4000 selling in the first week shine? He's no where near the same level as him. He should only respond to the rappers he mentioned. Not none of these ny peasant rappers

All K. Dot has to do is reference

-Paps wifey in jail while hes on the outside
-his failed career, taking 10 years to drop a dud
-catching the beats from Fat Joe

I don't think it's just mentioning it, it's how it's executed. A lot tht can be said about Kendrick too.

That's not how Hip Hop works. Sometimes it's competition, it ain't about who sold what. He put out a challenge, at the moment people are saying Pap was the best response so it's logical.

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
He knew what It was before it dropped. He got at least 400 missed calls. C'mon fam, that's weak. He can take 15 minutes out of his day
To do what? Address your bum ass :pachaha: What more does he have to say that he didn't say in that verse? Kendrick was never a media whore, he makes his music and keeps it pushing like a rapper is supposed to. Cant be like those clowns on VladTV talkin about new sneaker releases like a high schooler :scusthov:

No thats not how hip hop works. Would Jay-z respond to Hurricane Chris? Would Lebron accept a high schooler or a retired scrub like Ricky Davis in a game of 1 on 1 on National TV?

Theres levels to this shyt breh

I agree with the general tone of your post however I wouldn't label it a "Troll Diss". Trolling correlates a lack of substance, Kendrick's rap wasn't just trolling, it was a CHALLENGE and as such I feel like he does have a responsibility to respond in some form, but ONLY to the rappers mentioned by name. The point of a challenge is for it to be excepted and for the combatants to test their skills to see who the victor wil be. Drake, Cole, Jay Electronica and Big Sean have in the past, in some form called themselves the best and in Drake's case he's outwardly proclaimed himself a King. The King of the hill ALWAYS has to defend his place atop the mountain and Kendrick is reminding the new school of that. There have been Kings who were betrayed by their own brothers for the crown. Jacob withheld food from his starving brother Esau until he Esau sold him his birthright. "I Got Love for Ya'll But I'm trying to MURDER you nikkas" isn't trolling. It's a serious challenge rooted within the very essence of the culture itself. Gotta give Kendrick more credit than labeling it a troll diss
And let's not say Kendrick threw NY a bone. You don't throw the birthplace of this genre a "bone", claiming King Of NY and aligning yourself to its two legendary artists (Jay-Z, Nas) is a way of a Kendrick saying he's carrying on tradition.
