"It's boring down South" "The South is sooo slow"

I'm not sure if I ever fully understood this. I mean if you want a fast paced life, live one. I can be on the go 24/7 living in a small city. So what do they really mean by this?

People in the south, in smaller cities usually feel like its not enough to do or enough diversity. I've heard this my whole life growing up down here, the diversity part is very true. The rest of it is opinion, If you need to go out and have different people to mingle with places to go and see all the time then yeah the south isn't going to be for you unless your living in a major city in Texas, New Orleans, or some where in Florida. And I hear still people complain about N.O when there is constantly something different going on in that city. Its pretty much a big event every month... but then again how many smaller cities anywhere in the states are fast paced?:hmmm?:



The funny thing is people that move down here from other smaller cities (at least in Louisiana) usually love it. I notice at lot of women move down to Louisiana for there men.

And most NYC nikkas are broke paying ridiculous rent for a box pretending that their geographical location and accent make them faster and smarter. It's comical. How smart is it to live where you can afford and can't even afford to have fun.

most of the people i hear talking about the south being slow are just too broke to enjoy the amenities the south has to offer.

i also notice that a lot of people up here in the NE have like 2-3 jobs and shyt. i like to enjoy my off time, and if that makes me slower, so be it.

true it's not much to do here besides clubs and bars. But that's not our fault. Big cities always have events come to them while events never come to small areas. Here In va we got amusement parks and beaches though.

Blacks that were up north didn't have to deal with "as much" hate and injustice as those in the south.

The south does'nt have the most militant blacks, it has the most Brainwashed and fearful ones. California is the home of the Black Panthers
