PC gaming overrated for real for real.I bought a topish end PC last year and haven't really done any gaming on it outside of playing Black Mesa (The Half Life remaster), Starcraft 2, and a couple Minecraft mods.
I've asked my boys that play PC heavily for "must have" PC exclusives that I need to check out and they always mention either stuff that's available on console or some super obscure pixel retro graphics gothic occult games or super shock violence games that I have no interest in.
I'm cool to be corrected, I just haven't seen any PC games that felt like "must haves" exclusive to the platform.
FPS and Resolution over existing console games has never really moved me like that.

Yea nah. There’s specific hardware on Nvidia gpus (dedicated to machine learning I believe)for DLSS.
AMD has a completely software (I believe) based solution called FSR but it doesn’t stack up to DLSS.
Sony first party will probably just continue to use inhouse upscaling techniques while AMD gets its shyt together.

DLSS and their RT performance in a console would have been huge right now but they were overcharging, overhyping, and underdelivering to both Xbox and Playstation back in the early 2000s so they went with AMD. Didn't help that they never got their APU game up to snuff.

I wish whatever is coming down the tube has performant integer scaling options to knock some of that blurriness down. Also, XeSS would be a neat alternative - if it was open.
I mean its essentially like putting prom makeup on that girl from high school you weren't checking for. its a huge difference and honestly a game changer, especially when you consider ray tracing and what not.
You don’t even know what DLSS is or what the fukk it does, never used it before.
