It's crazy Eminem made an album with Just Blaze, DJ Khalil, Havoc, Dre and Boi-1da and it still turned out trash

the freestyle was def the first time we heard the beat, but c';mon bro it's a stretch to act like that was a song that they did together. I was around back then too. People really wanted a song or two of them together properly. Em gave that half ass effort of a 90 second track on Alc's solo project that year, and then that freestyle, and that was it.

It was a letdown in real time to everyone that they didn't do a real song together on an Em album.

Naa buddy. I saw you dap that comment. You co signed dude but didn't say anything till I pointed out the timeline.

My dude. when Jay Z did Dear Summer in 2005, it was a freestyle over a new Just Blaze beat first, getting play all over Hot 97 and mixtapes way before it was placed on Bleeks 534 album and till this day we count that. I cant see how a freestyle with an unknown Just Blaze beat would count for Jay Z but because this website hates Em the rules change all of a sudden and it doesn't count for Em. Nope, I don't accept that. If it counts for Jay it counts for Em too.

But as it was pointed out, Em did this track with Alc so no more needs to be said on this topic of Em never getting a beat from AL to put on his album.

:heh: I feel you.

My biggest thing is that I don't like to count stuff that can't be picked up at the store (back then at least) or doesn't have any kind of structure. I always felt like the Westwood freestyle was just a radio freestyle over a beat we'd never heard before. I mean come on bro. You know back then that when people were excited about a potential Em and Alc collaboration, a youtube freestyle on Tim Westwood was NOT what they were anticipating.

That's all I really mean. It's a fire freestyle, and one of Em's last best freestyles IMO, but it's not what fans were hoping to get out of the "Alc as Em's DJ" situation. I feel like it's slightly disingenuous to pretend that their relationship musically amounted to everything people were expecting that it would amount to.

Stepdad was a song that we all eventually got on an album...but the only problem with that one is that it was trash. :dead:

Mfs were hyped that Em was working with some big name producers and out of his comfort zone. Then that man dropped some emo stadium rap for straight edge whiteboys addicted to Monster Energy drinks and Call of Duty :heh:

Just Blaze's beats on this shyt were :scust:
Cold Wind Blows was a fire beat IMO but I agree with everything else.

Y’all get some weird satisfaction from bringing up Eminem once a week lol

Revival and Encore deserves every bit of slander they receive. He did waste good producers on rock rap pop trash also.

Y’all work tirelessly to rewrite history about everything else. He recovered well, no pun intended, after the revival flop.
