You got the other dude saying Kendrick never headed any major tours, and that GKMC isn’t a classic, never got play on the streets and outside of the “interscope machine” and one of em said TPAB sounds like a title created by a 12yr old girl, and that kendrick might fall off after TPAB. Considering this was before the massive impact of DAMN makes this thread even funnier.
You got one poster saying Makonnen was that OVO artist equivalent to JayZs roc signings that kept him afloat in his career.
You could always tell honest critiques vs regional bias, post-control sour grapes, and 90s clinger/on stannery. 10yrs has passed, so the post control sour grapes has died down and ppl are being objective and just appreciating the music. Dot has survived the test of time from the time this thread was created. GKMC still doing numbers, DAMN was a mainstream monster, and all his old shyt doing numbers.
