You forgot to mention Country music, Folk music and Bluegrass music. The music was referred to as Appalachian Blues or Piedmonte Blues, which was played by the Black people in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The Carter family, who are considered the first family of Country music, started playing the music after they hired a black man named Lesley Riddle to teach them the Blues songs. Riddle's guitar style was a big influence on Maybelle Carter guitar playing style.

Then there was Charlie and Bill Monroe. Bill Monroe is considered the father of Bluegrass music, but he acknowledged that his biggest influence was a Black Blues musician named Arnold Shultz. Shultz's style of guitar playing is the style that Country music's biggest stars, Merle Travis and Chet Atkins are known for playing.
