Everyone eventually falls out of their prime. There are few if any musicians that are making high quality music into their 40’s.
It’s a contemporary gospel album.It's a great and an underrated album.
It won't get truly recognized for it's greatness until years later like 808s and heartbreak.
It has a different sound and it's still really good.
The only reason it "came and went" is because we are living in an information world.
We are constantly being fed new information over and over, so we quickly forget something and move onto the next.
